How We Built NRIQ Services' Premium NRI Web Platform: A UI/UX & Dev Case Study

NRIQ Services LLP is India's most comprehensive NRI financial and lifestyle services platform. From ITR filing and NRE/NRO banking to property management, legal representation, estate planning, and medical tourism — NRIQ serves the global Indian diaspora with over 40+ service categories. When they approached Betasaurus, they had a capable business but a website architecture that wasn't doing it justice.
This is the story of how we rebuilt their entire web presence from the ground up: architecting a fast, trustworthy, premium platform that converts global NRI visitors into high-value consulting clients.
1. Discovery & Audit: Understanding the NRI Digital Journey
The NRI financial services market is unique. Clients are geographically distributed across the UAE, USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, and Australia — yet their needs are deeply rooted in India. They require absolute trust, a sense of institutional credibility, and immediate clarity on complex topics like FEMA compliance, property title transfers, and cross-border tax.
Our discovery phase revealed three core problems with the existing NRIQ web presence:

Unoptimized assets and no CDN layer were causing 4–6s page loads, driving away high-intent visitors on mobile.
Confusing IA
40+ services had no clear hierarchy. Visitors couldn't navigate from category to specific service without effort.

2. Information Architecture: Mapping 40+ Services into Clarity
NRIQ's service breadth is its greatest strength — but also its biggest UX challenge. We mapped out the complete service taxonomy spanning 7 major categories: Business & Legal, Property & Real Estate, Tax & Finance, Investments & Wealth, Health & Lifestyle, Global & Concierge, and Events & Content.
We designed a three-tier navigation system: a mega-menu grouping services by category, dedicated category landing pages with clear service cards, and individual service detail pages with conversion-optimized CTA blocks. Every path leads the user to one action: scheduling a free consultation.
3. UI/UX Design: Premium Trust Architecture
NRI financial clients are skeptical by nature. They've seen countless intermediaries make promises. The NRIQ brand needed to communicate institutional-grade credibility — immediately. We developed a design language built around deep trust signals:

We chose Next.js as the core framework — the same technology powering the Betasaurus website itself. This enabled static generation for all 40+ service pages, delivering sub-1s load times globally without sacrificing SEO or dynamic functionality.

The new NRIQ Services platform launched to immediate results. NRI clients across the UAE, USA, and UK reported a dramatically improved experience when navigating their financial and legal service options.
